NEED YOUR HELP GUYS-WRX 300 WAGON??
Hi Guys,
2 years ago I ended up buying a Bugeye wrx on a 03 plater, so 1 of the last ones made before the blobeye. It was a bargin, 1 owner, very clean and FSH. It looked nice with the original prodrive stickers and the 18inch gold OZ multispoke prodrive wheels. On Completing the purchase, the V5 and the insurance company state WRX UK300. Well i always thought they only made 300, sti uk300 saloons on a 2001 bugeye. Now has come the time to sell the vehicle. I think that this will fetch more cash than a standard WRX to people that know about all the different scoobies, and on calling a used car place that specialisies in imprezas they said 'Yep its worth more, we would look at about £5000' CAN YOU HELP

The UK 300 was no STI buddy, basically just a wrx with a few fancy body parts fitted and a limited run of 300.
I didn't think they did them in wagon form but could be wrong
As for £5000, if someone has offered you that for it then snap their hand off quick. A good bug STI can be had for that money now which is a far superior car.
The UK 300 does have a higher value than your normal wrx because quite frankly it looks better and ofcourse its a limited edition. I personally think £5K is well over what it's worth though.

Cheers guys. I never knew they did a uk300 wagon. Like I say i always thought the UK300 was made in a saloon version in 2001 and was an STI. My wagon is just a WRX with all the nice factory stabdard bits on it, but on looking at the V5 and it staing wrx uk300 AND the insurance company saying that registration says UK300 I wondered why I had never heard of a WRX UK300 WAGON. Cheers

Thanks Jura11,
That is waht I thought. It was just a uk300 saloon. However my V5 states and when you call a insurance company with the reg it comes up as a UK300. This is my problem, I have never heard of a wagon as a wrx uk300, never mind one of the last bugeyes on a 03 Plate. This is why I need help to find out how many were made, why etc, allowing me to market it right when im selling.

Cheers, I maybe thought a dealership had done something crafty like that to, espcially with it being an 03 PLATE.
Cheers for all your helps guys. After having 7 scoobies, we all like to think we know most of the models from the Type RA to the CS400, but I thought it maybe a DVLA error.
How do you think I sell it, as a WRX or as stated on the log book and with the insurance company UK300?????
Got my eye on a 2011 sti saloon.
Thanks again.

Mattyb,
To be honest it looks just like a normal bug wagon. It does have a few nice bits like the 18in gold OZ Prodrive multispokes on, and some prodrive stickers which any1 can put on. However I have seen a picture of the car when it was bought from the showroon with the stickers already on. But like I say they probs just asked the dealership to stick them on.
Do you tink when I advertise it for sale I market it as a wrx or wrx uk300?
