Default SUBARU IMPREZA TURBO TERZO,NEW INTERCOOLER

HI,i have a subaru impreza turbo terzo but wanting to fit a new larger intercooler, what would be ideal? thanks

An Sti would be easiest to fit but to make the most out of it you would need an sti scoop and undertray, Y pipe and brackets

would it matter what year sti intercooler i use? mines a 98 s plate

On a 98 you can run a newage sti intercooler, you may need to make some minor adjustments though.

Mine's a '98 and I'm running a modified newage STI top mount.

Its a terzo, quite a rare car now, limited run of 333 units, it doesnt need to be modified for more power as all that will do is reduce its value and put your insurance up!
My basic answer is to sell the car to an enthusiast, go and buy an MY99/00 car and work from that as its a better starting place due to the improvements between the years.

This is the best advice you can have, seriously, guy!

The 98 cars ran a non-mappable ecu too, so extra expense when you have to have a map.

Sell it and buy a 99-00 car. There are some nice Type R's out there....
