Yes I can help. Leave it the f**k alone. The standard one is just fine and works better than the chav valve you're thinking of fitting.

Indeed, as above
You don't need a chav valve, the standard one is perfectly fine

Why do DV's have a chav lable attached to them?

It's only a sound after all, albeit not being a necessary sound

I had one fitted in the 1990's to a modified car and it was naff then. Go and read some adverts of Impreza's for sale on eBay and they mostly have these fitted.

After market bov's/dump valves do nothing for the performance of the car and are fitted so you get noticed in maccy dee's car park by 14 year old girls and other chav's.

Exhausts on the other hand do contribute, by being better at flowing the exhaust gasses. The sound they make is a typical result of the better performance they offer.
I stand by 'chav valve'. God I'm sounding like PSL and this **** link

To be fair, I do see where your coming from in the terms of no performance gains to be had, but I guess some people want to have a dump valve and some people dont.

I guess this is somthing you chav-valve haters out there will have to get over

"My engine is running a bit strangely, it doesn't idle well and doesn't pull properly, any ideas?"

"Have you got an aftermarket dump valve?"

"Yes"

Case closed!

dump valves do nothing for the performance of the car.....

Thats why they have them, cause they do nothing. Neither does half the other chavvy stuff....

Lets have a dump valve amnesty..... If you got one, blank it off, post a picture and show the world how non chavvy you are.

If you own a subaru, chances are you own a dump valve... get a ****ing life....

We live in a democracy, every chav has the right to sound off a dump valve.....

They make a chavvy woosh sound that sells cars better.....

Thus making it easier for chavs to get hooked up with 14 year old lasses, unless your a chavvy scooby lady driver, then it just makes yer all hard as nails like!

At this late stage in the bonkers post preceedings, as i have requested before, i suggest an A-Z guide....

For those who doent know..... read below.

Quote from that link
4. But people will think I am a ricer!
--Did they pay for your car? Are they making your loan payments? Will them thinking this stop you from getting laid? Exactly, then tell them to die in a fire and enjoy your BOV if that is what you want.
Hahahaha

Alot of hate out there for the dump valve. Seems like some would go to the lengths and stab you if they could hear it go off near them :-/
I personally run dv-less on my car but my missus has a hks dv on her's and I couldn't really care if it had it on or not as it's not hurting anybody.
So if you want a dv on the car buddy then go ahead and fit one.

There ain't as that just causes compressor surge/stall which makes a noise but that noise is obviously not chavvy for some reason!? But I like that noise haha
