Default HELP IT LOOKS $#|T

Iv took the Subaru writing off the back and removed all the sticky stuff but the outline of the writing can still be seen!
Any tips on how to get rid of it so I have a nice shiny Subaru badge free boot?

Thanks in advance.

the boot lid will need polishing to remove any marks left.

can use any light cutting agent to do it. Dodo juice, 3m ultrafina, G10

i wouldnt recommend G3 as its very abbrasive any will more likley leave more marks than what it removes

Pretty much as above!!

It probably needs a good mopping, or polish gently using G10(a sort of T-Cut) cutting compound - and I mean gently.

Go too hard and boom you could go straight through the lacquer.
Have a couple of gentle goes at it, buff to a shine and see how it looks. If you're happy with it, apply a coat or two of normal wax like Autoglym and job done.

What may have happened is that the paintwork has faded slightly, but not where the letters were.

I used microfibre cloth with white spirt on previous cars to get the sticky stuff off.

Works a treat
