Ok so I have a £1000 to spend on the Scooby but wanted to know where others would spend it?
The car is a nearly standard 03 Blob STi PPP with a decat, and prodrive back box and remap from bob rawle. I would like more power, however looking after the car is also a big big thing for me.... it's currently running 320bhp. Any thoughts?

Deffo get the handling tightened up. A full set of powerflex bushes or equivalent along with a good geometry setup. This will alllow you to enjoy the car, I did all the bushes on my bugeye then got the geometry setup done and could not believe the difference.

Thanks for replies. Since I've had the car I have already changed the oil, filters and coolant. Always a good idea for piece of mind ha
Are the standard sti suspension not great then? I was*advised to get a strut brace... is it worth it?
Brakes are near the top of my list..no point having power and oopps. ..can't stop!
Coke and hookers though....

I would do the suspension that's what I'm doing with 2k I have spare, but you say brakes, I find the brembos perfectly up to the job on a road any brakes will slow a car from 70, unless you plan to track then I would make sense

Performance Friction 2 piece front disc & bell, with Z rated pads all round, HEL braided lines, Perrin PSRS, Perrin drop links front & rear, with a professional full GEO set-up!!
Might be just over £1k but well worth it..

As many people here recommend: Front and rear ARB's(Eibach or WhiteLine),solid droplinks, good wheel alignment and don't forgot on the brakes(PF Z-rated pads are good and really I can only recommend them,Performance Friction disc can be out your budget, but speak with Alyn@AS Performance)
