How are the spool on these compared to the vf35?

Have a vf28 on my classic. really good spool only a smidge more lag than tdo4 if mapped well. really lovwd mine. is as good as vf34 just wont make the same topend power in my opinion. Was on sti and p1 so subaru must have rated them. Vf34 will be newer. 28 getting on a bit now.

VF28 has much better spool than vf34 and vf35. It's top power is around 330bhp whereas the latter ones can squeeze more.

I ran a 28 for a while, great little punchy turbo and made 342 on my car at 1.5 bar boost.

v5 STi from memory, also the P1 which is what they are based upon...........

Plenty around for £150, wouldn't pay anymore than that as your not far off the price of a vf35

my mate is running a vf28 and made 349 bhp at 1.45 bar, i used to run a vf23 on my v3 type r it made 370 bhp at 1.5bar:-)

Absolutely not. Mine has no play and spools very well and was not bought from someone stuck for cash neither.

I can't find one for less then £200 it sold for £200 anyway.
It seems to be well I got mine for x amount so thats what there worth
