No Esso 99?
Isn't it about time they started doing a 99 RON?
Their super unleaded is only a 97?

V-Power all the way here too, never tried Tesco tbh.
Having owned a MR2 Turbo previously then being stuck with the shed (Mondeo daily drive) for a couple of years, I now remember the old trick of having to plan a route for any long drive via Shell garages along the way!

Yes, I am Vpower all the way too, but how come Esso don't even do a 99 RON. I'd have thought they are losing out on a market there.

I've noticed that Esso's 97 is more expensive than Tesco's 99 !

If its a uk wrx then it will benefit slightly by an ecu reset and staying with 99 Ron but not going to be a massive difference probably won't even notice

Mine, running a forged 2.5 mapped by Bob Rawle on V-Power, seems to like Tesco Momentum better.
Lucky for me, since Shell closed BOTH our service stations, the nearest is now 30 miles

If I put anything other than V power in she runs awful, hesitates and generally drives crap.

Very recently had the car mapped (turbo change) on V-Power. Re-filled with some more V-Power the other day and had a couple of high readings on the KS3 meter using just over 6k on part throttle so it shows consistancy of V-Power is not gauranteed! Momentum in it now which in the past I've found to be as good as the Shell.
