Default what's your thoughts on this cdb build kit pls

Hi im currently stripping a v1sti cdb and i have found this whilst searching about

http://6starspeed.com/suejhipeenbu2.html
im not aiming for big bhp but id like a bottom end that would cope with 600 but, run it at about 450/500 so im thinking of retaining the 2ltr crank .
Also im currently running a pink box clutch and (the Mrs )likes the oe pedal feel can anybody suggest a clutch that would cope with 500 ish but neither brake the bank or the Mrs leg lol
cheers clive

Cheers worbs I'd love to try your clutch .......through all the gears bouncing off the limiter
sorry Steve didn't mean to sound rude but , i thought you knew me better than that , and i won't be looking for anymore power until the drivetrains upgraded .just a solid bottom end for a good foundation for my long term project

has anybody used 6star speed for anything ?
how was the quality of service and parts?
cheers clive

i have seen these pop up a few times while trawling through the net

got a email back from 6star and all their cranks will need the cdb to be thrust converted

the v1sti the cdb came out of was running 340 and sounded sweet with low knock on the apexi.

does anybody know whether the standard crank would be up to it, with a check over and a new set of acl's ?
or am i gonna get slated for saying i want a solid bottom end with a second hand crank ?

A used crank is fine provided it measures up ok, straight and no damage to the keyway slot.

I used a second hand crank from an RA and it was good as gold for about 1500 miles, the engine is out at the min but nothing wrong with it.

As log as it's not had a bearing failure you should be fine.
