Default Whos running sti tmic on classic facelift?

Just bought sti tmic for my 2001 classic, wanted to know a few things.

Will i need a remap or will it be ok to fit and run as it is?
(will get a remap when bought a turbo)
What bov is best to get, smallest one a guess with little room there is?
Do i need to change the undertray to an sti undertray?
Is my standard scoop ok?
thanks.

Well you dont need a map ya ecu will cope with extra air.

You have now a wider mount with a small scoop and tray so it wont work so yes get tray and bigger scoop the more air the better.Bov standard is fine

You definitely need a bigger undertray to reap the benefits.

I run an STi top mount and you don't need a bigger scoop. Apart from that,What Fud said.

Its a massive job, although people have done it in the past and SN did have a number of write ups.

Id post in the technical forum and someone will probably be able to post a link. Failing that then 22B.com would be a good alternative.

I take it you mean a newage Sti tmic?

I have one fitted to my P1 and as already said you will need the under tray to match it, either the normal one that's standard or zerosports do some iirc, or get a custom made one like what I have fitted. The brake fluid reservoir will need to be modified aswell to allow the top mount to sit correctly plus you will need to make up some brackets to hold the intercooler in place. I use the standard oem recirc bov that came with the intercooler but it is very tight fit and shall be looking at getting a Forge item if they are smaller. I also have intercooler spray wired up using the pump that's meant for the headlight washers by just redirecting the pipe work and used a jet on either side of the intercooler to spray evenly

I will post up some pics during the week to give you some scale of what to do
