Now I am getting paranoid.We have a 4 year old and im now thinking what if the car entices ******* to break in the house looking for the keys or something.Getting a tracker fitted as insurance co demands it.....but just feeling a bit wary.

Wise to be wary Moojii, but lets face it, if we thought about the ******* too much, we'd never have anything worth having.

And (far far more importantly) if they were to break in, they will only be after the keys, nothing else.

Fit an alarm to your house, doesnt need to be anything fancy. Argos do some cheap alarms that wil deter 99% of thieves. Add in a couple of super bright motion sensitive lights (£10 each max) and a couple of dummy cameras (again £10 each max) and you will be fine.
I reckon for less than £200 you can make your house very safe and very offputting to potential thieves.
Things like steering locks, visible flashing alarm lights and bright motion sensitive lights are very effective.

Best thing to do is put an anti ram raiding post outside your garage door so even if they get the car keys they can't get the car out. Seeing the post and some dummy cameras is usually enough to put most thieves off as its more hassle than its worth

Don't do what other wannabe conan the barbarians do and take your keys to bed. Leave them out of sight from the outside but make sure they can be found if someone does decide to enter your house. This way you hopefully wont wake up with some meat head asking you for the keys nicely with a hammer for persuasion

Park your car on the street a few doors down and they won't breakin your house for the keys.. This with a snap off wheel and your the winner.

I live 10 miles outside ktown and never had any problems , you'll get scum in every town fella ,
My cars rigged up to my house alarm and outside lights as well as its tracker and stand alone alarm if they try it then all hell brakes loose inside and outside
