Unhappy Does anyone buy an impreza anymore because...

Does anyone buy an impreza now or have one because thea have been inspired by the legend Colin McRae?
I grew up loving the fearless 555 legend and always wanted an impreza, and bought one as soon as I could insure it!

I don't think this is the case anymore
I don't think there is a better looking car or better sounding one at that than the series McRae!

Just wondered other people's thoughts

It the same, amazing drivers and love them both!
It's just the whole rally car look/sound that I love and has always inspired me about imprezas!

Colin McRae ps2 games were the best!
And I'm not saying everyone is a fan of McRae ,
It's just you don't seem to see many rally looking scoobs anymore.. You know with the big exhaust and graphics... Looks amazing IMO

I think many bought the classic and bugeye shapes becuase of the rallying heritage, but times have moved on, Subaru are no longer a force in rallying and haven't been for years and let's be honest the current (soon to be dead in the UK) Impreza is about as far removed from those glory days as it's possible to get!

To be fair no they aren't such a big part at all anymore.. But have been and I'll always love that .. And the looks of the cars. And I don't think it is a good thing Tommy.
I know most are driven by chavs thinking they look good, but that's not all

Some WRC decal kits can look ok if done properly, but please DON'T add a fake stick on roof scoop.

its the 70% of the stickered up sh1te thats ruined it for the rest of us owners that spend the money on proper mods like remaps, turbos and coilovers rather than stickers and fake roof vents

Dont know about that. McRae used the Hawkeye in the xgames and Travis Pastrana and Ken Block both have used the Hatch for Rally.
