ssi headers taiwan

Default ssi headers taiwan

been doin a bit of searchin on the net so would i be correct in saying that the majority of impreza gt spec headers are manufactured by above company then rebranded,therfore they should all be much the same apart from copies/fakes.if so the how do you id fakes.cheers guys.

Mine certainly came in a box marked 'Taiwan' from the late Harvey Smith.

Keep i mind that below 400 on a classic and 450 or so on a newage, tubular headers can actually make the car drive worse, spoil the spool and produce LESS power.

Ported headers may be the way to go.

you can tell genuine from the flanges , (they have the name and shape is different , like in the picture in link:

cheers for replies guys,car is newage blob sti running 411b/349l.lightly ported headers.
conflicting opinions on when to fit gt spec headers,cheers anyway.
