That's a disgraceful way to drive on public roads, even in a hairdressers car.

These are growing on me big style.

Still, going sideways is all well and good - but I'll still miss the sliproad giggles that I get from the Impreza.

Same here. I see quite a lot of adverts about for the Toyota, but none for the Subaru.

Borrowed one for the morning last time I had the Cosworth in for an oil change. Cracking little car, I really hope it is as successful as it deserves to be.

I do feel that a lot of the people who have criticised the performance of this car are missing the point. The MX-5 was slower but is still regarded as a great drivers car and I think the BRZ is in exactly the same mould.

I am old enough to remember when something that hit 62mph in less than 7 seconds was a quick car!

i saw one of these in the rear view mirror after a quick glance and got excited for a little dabble thinking it was a brz, let him overtake me, listening for the sound...... there was none, it sounded electric, turns out it was a gt86. i would be gutted if i had bought one of those.

It's got quite a nice little growl on it from the inside.

If you're used to the sound of a burbling Impreza though it would sound quite weak.

Yeah but it would also completely change the character of the car. It's fun holding the car at 5,500rpm through a corner in a BRZ. You wouldn't do that in a turbo version too often.

It would be quite funny to put that kind of power or more through those pram wheels though

You should, you'll enjoy testing it!

I've toyed with the idea of one but for now haven't got the space. I think if I did I'd be terribly tempted to get another Blob DCCD.

But it's a cracking little car, might be too good a deal to pass up when they come up used for half the price. I do agree though, we're probably going to see a 250+bhp version with fatter tyres and a beefed up suspension

Have you seen the Jap market has a super stripped out "RA" version out there?
