Wheres the water going? How much water does it take to fill? Have you tested the thermostat? Are the heater matrix pipes the correct way around? Only saying that from ur previous thread :-) feel for you m8 you are having a right mare it seems

To be honest not sure where its going, and giving up slightly, lol love doin my own work, but getting to the stage sending it sumwhere, not sure how much as using a hose to fill via rad and block then sand time in exspansion tank. Was having alot of bubbles come though but seem to have gone, not checked stat, will be tomoro, then looks like back to square one,

not sure on heater pipes would it make a difference, and need to find pic or where pipes go to make sure

ill look at mine 2moro if u like and let you know where they go, cant remember of the top of my head. if ur using a hose then its prob going in too fast tbh. best way is to drain fully, remove thermostat housing and stat, let it empty all the way. then refit. take hose from expansion tank to turbo off, quite a small bore one. lid off the expansion tank and refil thru the hose using a funnel. no gurgles when u see water entering the expansion tank u can refil the normal way. leave the cap off and start up. mop up any overspill. let it tick over for a while. when its settled down put the cap on and leave a bit longer to build pressure. switch off and cool, check level and top up if needed.

i cant remember if the hoses for the heater are level or one higher than the other, if they are not level then it will make a difference when refilling if they are the wrong way around.

Drain the system.
Unplug the small hose at the header tank that runs to the turbo.
Use a small funnel and pour water down the pipe until the header tank fills with water remembering a 50/50 mix of anti freeze.
Once the header tank is full refit pipe onto header tank and start the car leaving the cap off and heaters on inside the car.
Allow to run for a few minutes to blow any air out.
Fit the cap on and allow car to cool.
Once cool check level and top up if nessasary.

Yes, doing it this way fills it from the bottom up so pushes the air out as it fills.

It's the rear-most pipe off the top header tank, the one on top of the engine.
You need to stuff a funnel down it, fill SLOWLY, do NOT allow it to "gulp", mine took almost 20 minutes to fill.
