Anyone else have to have the next modification planned as soon as you have just done something in order to not get bored? Is that just me?

All the enjoyment seems to be in the planning and the process rather than the end result, at least for me.
I find pacing myself on the smaller/cheaper modifications is needed otherwise I get everything done immediately and am left with the big ££ changes, get bored and sell the car.

I keep telling myself that my car is "near standard" but when I actually think about it the list of mods is quite impressive. Individually they may only be small mods, but they have had a cumulitive effect on the car.
And yes, have just orderd a 1 1/16" master cylinder as the next mod

Excuse me for being stupid, but what is a 'rotated setup'? I've seen a few engines with the inlet manifold turned 180 deg, is that what you're referring to? Why do that? Shorter path for the forced air? Therefore less lagg?

It's more than likely to be a rotated turbo. The modified up pipe allows the turbo to twist on the end of it. The benefit is that you can get a much bigger turbo in there.
Here's one we made earlier;
