Default Anyone running a 20g?

As above, is anyone running a td05/06 20g?
If so, what's it like compared to standard turbo (vf35)
I'm running 358bhp 335lb/ft on a 2003 blob sti.

Pretty decent power if thats on Vpower alone, is it billet? dosen't mean to say it will come close to the same figures again though alot of variables involved. every cars different.

Some cars make 400(ish) like the one it just came off, others only make about 380(ish) on average maybe a little more.

I know what you mean mate, his car was 353bhp with his vf35 then I bought that off him and my car made 358 with it. So I'm expecting similar with his 20g. It was just on vpower. We do think that the exhaust housing is a td06 tho. Don't know how this affects it? I do know it'll be a bit laggy but I can deal with that

td06 means it will have more lag but better top end and it should make a big difference compared to a vf35 but you will lose alot of response

I have ported headers so I'm hoping they help a little with the lag. But tbh I'm not that bothered if its laggy. Think I need injectors before my map tho

Ahh never noticed it was the 06, would explain the healthy figure. As long as it was off I would consider getting it billeted before fitting, think you would get an extra 20-30BHP out of it.

I'm thinking about a 20g for my 2.1, as I miss getting kicked in the back.
Whats the difference with a billet?

Would a front mount help or make the spool worse?
