Question Quick wheel question

Hi folks

Looking at swapping/selling my sti newage alloys and have been offered a set of Dare st alloys. Same size 17" sam colour but I just fancy a change.

Are these good for the saloon and what would the price difference be in a reasonable state with a set of tyres with a minimum of 6mm tread?

Thanks folks

I don't hear the brand Dare mentioned much, your better off posting a few pictures and try the wheel and tyre section as someone familiar may be more likely to see your question in there

Dare are another brand that seem to do a copy of all popular style of wheels, these seem to be the lowest of the low though. They are £399 new, without tyres on eBay

Personally I think you should stick with your own wheels

Cheers for that comment. There are newage sti alloys on Ebay with tyres for £300 used at present but if the Dares are £399 for a set new then that's £100 per wheel alone. Sorry, I just want to make sure I don't loose out tbh and if I can make a bit aswell, then that's parts for my car which it needs

If they are to fit over Brembos they they may not fit. I would not change your newage for Dare mate. The quality not great and as said I doubt they will fit unless you running Subaru 4pots.

I understand that you want to change your wheels but I would rather have wheels that I wasn't worried about failing every time I hit a pot hole. You will need to buy alot more parts for your car if one does fail, not worth the risk in my opinion

I am so glad I took your advice on here. I said to the bloke yesterday about not doing the swap because I had heard that the build quality etc wasn't that good. Well this morning on a facebook page he said that one of his alloys cracked and spat the tyre off!

Now a coincedence or what?

Thanks again peeps
