Default D2S hid replacement bulbs

Where's the best place to get these from one of mine has gone. Cars a 2002 Bugeye with jdm hids fitted.

Seen a few on eBay but unsure on the quality. Would rather not pay cheap pay twice

I've got an OEM set from the JDM bug, one if the grey insulators is cracked but they still both work fine, £18 delivered is a bargain

The problem with HID bulbs (burners) is that the quality varies almost as much as halogen bulbs.
However, where a halogen bulb may be slightly unfocused, or not last long, the HID burner can give a different colour.........and that's now an MoT fail

Better off buying a pair, UNLESS you can source a bulb from the same manufacturer, and then it needs to be the same colour temperature. It MIGHT say on the bulb.

There's a place in the USA does only quality bulbs, forget ebay and dealers on here

Not sure what you have fitted Martin, These came out of a set of JDM HID lights...The OEM factory fit ones if that's what you have fitted then yes they will.

So, what's the problem - just put your fog lights on and all will be OK. Well, that's what most people seem to do. Must be something to do with two negatives making a positive - so two illegals must make a legal or is just a double prat?
