Default Stage 2 tuning advice

Ok so I'm thinking of taking my hawk WRX to stage 2.

It's currently running about 285bhp with the usual stage 1 mods.
Afterburner back box and centre section, decat down pipe, filter, fuel pump and remap.

Not looking for anything crazy, would be happy with 330bhp.

Looking to get an STI turbo and TMIC with another remap.
Will this see me achieve my figure?
Any other mods I should consider to ensure the car runs safely at 300+

Will I need to replace injectors?
I'm getting mixed answers, some say the injectors on a hawk are good enough and some say I need pink injectors.

My other question is what would be the safest boost to run 320-330 on a 2.5 WRX?

You'll not need injectors on a Hawkeye as they run the same injector throughout the range.
You should certainly get close to your target figure and won't need more than 1.3 bar to do it. If you can lay your hands on one, use a VF48 from a Hatch as these flow slightly better again than the VF43.

Boost will be determined by the mapper, I think its around 1.5 bar (ish) and tails off through the revs.

What injectors are in there? They should be blue from memory iirc and will be fine for the power level your aiming for, the blue hawk Injectors are good for 400ish.

The mods you mention will see you in the region of 330, maybe a little more, maybe a little less, have you got a full decat on the car or have you only removed the downpipe cat? There are 3 in total on your wrx.

Cats removed along with the Sti TMIC and vf34/35/48 turbo will be a good improvement over the wrx items, you may want to consider a 3port boost solenoid if you don't already have one fitted, but what you have mentioned upgrade wise will see your desired power level give or take

I believe the car has a decat centre and decat downpipe.

Still quite new to tuning, but what is a 3port boost solenoid and where can I get one from?

The 3 port is bolted to the drivers wing it has a 2 wire plug on it with 3 breather hoses coming from it, of yours has not been upgraded I believe it will be a 2 port one, same as above but only has 2 pipes coming off it, just gives better boost control, not everybody runs them but for what they cost then may want to look in to one, there is someone on here selling new, google "3port boost solenoid scoobynet" it should bring up a few links or alternatively go through the cars breaking section, they will be plenty about there

If you have decated the downpipe and centre section you will still have a pre cat in the uppipe ( presuming previous owner or yourself has not removed it already ) I would strongly suggest a Harvey smith uppipe, proven to work time and time again, that couple with a ported set of OE headers and the other bits your planning on will make quite a noticeable difference, the headers and not essential but will help and the Harvey uppipe is around £100 iirc but a worth while investment I personally seen the difference it made to my mates rb320 when coupled with the headers, full decat and straight through 3" exhaust and map along with the other little bits like plugs etc
