Default New to the forum and this is my toy

Hi All

This is my new toy that i have collected on Friday. Looking forward to having some fun and doing some things to improve the car. Not sure if its a car that any of have seen on the forum before.
Need to give it a clean first.

No its all standard, it has a Prodrive Exhaust and Prodrive Shortshifter but thats all factory fitted along with all the lights and bodykit. My first scooby and love it so far. My only other turbo car i owned was a stage 2 s14A and the WRX feels so much more predictable to drive. Good fun

Welcome to the forum. That certainly looks a good one. I'm not sure if I like the headlamps, but they probably look better in the flesh as is often the case.

Have you had a good look underneath, especially at the front under the undertray if it's still there, for any rust?

My first job would be to do just that, and hoping it's fine, get an order in for a load of stuff from here to make sure it stays that way:

It had some welding work on the front subframe for the last mot but from what I see this is a common fault. Will get it up on a ramp next week and have a proper look. As for jobs to do the Gates timing belt kit with water pump will be the first job and then turbo back exhaust and an STI inter cooler and a remap. That's about all I want performance wise. Looks wise I'm happy with it but will prob get another set of rims, possibly Rays or get the standard ones refurbed to a dark grey colour.
