Whys my battery flat again ?
As above, 3rd time in two months, I know being very cold makes a difference but the car gets used every day !. could the battery be shot ? If so , which battery should I be getting next ?

Sounds like your battery may be dying (esp if you're using it every day) - I guess you should also get your alternator checked to ensure it is charging the battery properly (or at least trying to).
I got a new battery for my 2007 Hawkeye Sti last year - I bought this one which has been brilliant - no problems so far and mine is mostly a weekend only car: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Su...7c3bb23&000020
Hope that helps

How far are you driving?
The car's alternator will only 80% bulk charge a battery...unless you go for a 12hour drive.
So if the battery has been discharged below 70% at some point, then driving, even daily may not be enough to prevent sulphation.
Sulphation reduces battery capacity, so over time the battery stores less and less charge to the point it won't hold enough to start the car the next day.
See links below, and never kill a battery again!

This happened to my car also 2007 STI
Your battery is more than likely passed it sell by date to be honest, replaced mine for a Varta Blue Dynamic D47 540 60AH 12v, cost about £75 thats what comes on them as standard I believe, no problems since and mine is only used every couple of weeks.
the Silver range in the Varta battery is one step
