Default Newage WRX trackday?

Evening people.

Right, I'm thinking of taking the car to a trackday. I've been dying to do it for ages. Its had a fair few mods done to it, so I'm just looking for a few tips really.

Does it need better cooling, will it cope, what precautions etc etc.

Cheers in advance

Although I've not done many days in mine, i'd say the only real precautions worth taking if it's relatively standard are brake pads, fluids and tyres. Make sure all are in great condition, or have replacements lol. Everything else should be alright.

If you can, maybe worth getting some track based pads for the day, and possibly another set of wheels with track tyres.

I've got Godspeed discs and orange stuff pads, and a set of Bridgestone REO50 tyre's.

It's running roughly 340/340. I was worried about cooling an the constant hard driving.

I used to have an Accord Type-R. An that thing was un burstable!!! 3 years of ringing its dam neck @100k, an it STILL produced above factory output on the rollers

Just wondered if the WRX heritage lives up to its hype. hopefully going to Aintree in may, then Oulton park in June
