Default Impreza 98 terzo ( hesitasion & sticky starter )

Hello everyone ,

Im a new owner of 98 impreza terzo for about 3 weeks already.
I did made a straight swap for it with my celica 02 tsport but knew i would have to spend few £££ on the scoobie.

Now the thing is , car been hesistation when u do try to floor it and sometimes at slow speed , ive replaced maf , front lambda sensor , knock sensor , fuel filter , done him a oil service and still doing the same.

My 2 last options would go by chaging spark plugs and coilpack + ht leads but dont know if those can cause the hesitation and the sticky starter.

Ps ¦ also cant connect to the ecu , via odb also went to a scoobie specialist he did try with 2 ways and no luck at all.

Besides that shes ok and i love be a new owner of a scoobie that with some tlc will make me smile everytime.

If someone as a clue of wha can it be , please let me know.

Thanks , bruno

Does it have the original dumpvalve, or a vent-to-atmosphere type?

OK, first job is to swap it for a standard one, or, at the very least, a recirculating one.

Deffo change the dump valve, baileys are renound for causing issue. Buy a standard one from one of the breakers on here, will only be a few quid.
