Default Am I supposed to have a sensor in my second cat pipe?

Hi All, I've got a 2005 STI PPP and I'm trying to figure out what's happened to my exhaust during it's lifetime.

The Prodrive Sports Cat goes into a decat pipe with a flexi-pipe which is then connected to the resonated centre which then goes onto the prodrive backbox.

I need to replace the resonated centre and the second decat pipe (with the flexi section) due to the connection between the two having a blow.

I've obtained a centre, now looking for a decat pipe to join the centre up to the downpipe.

The decat pipe on Scoobyworld comes with what appears to be a threaded connector for a sensor:

I can't seem to find a sensor connected to my pipe anywhere, but maybe it's hidden on the top of the pipe somewhere.

If the sensor has been removed, surely this should be throwing a CEL - or can this be mapped out? If I revert to a pipe with a sensor hole, I guess I'd be looking to find a sensor tied up out of the way somewhere, or worse chopped off

Just trying to figure out what my exhaust SHOULd be, then I can start figuring out what I've actually got.

The threaded hole is for the second lamba sensor.

As far as i can remember its should have a long yellow wired lamba running down to that sensor.

yes they can be mapped out.. but usually no need as when mapped the lamba just reads the correct adjustments.

Thanks mate.

I think I'll get it off the car and find out for sure, at least then I know whether a replacement pipe needs a threaded hole or not!
