Hid kits

1. They are now illegal and an MoT fail.
2. They do NOT work well in classic lights which use an H4 bulb. There is NO H4 HID that is of any use. In all of them you either get p*ss poor dip and decent main, or the reverse, or both are crap with light going everywhere.
You would be better with so-called uprated bulbs, Ring 120%, Osram Nightbreakers, Philips UltraVision etc etc.
Do a search on here for reasons why the H4 is no use as an HID.

I had a set in my classic from falcon security.
They were HID dipped and full beam with a brilliant beam pattern and were absolutely fine on both dipped and high
Certainly better than the standard headlights fitted to the car, but they were not cheap compared to some of the others out there.
If you decide to fit them make sure they are fitted properly as it really annoys me when people spend money and then fit them badly, resulting in blinding everyone at night

Best way to ensure you don't spend half your time being pulled over by the police.
I was going to HID my Hilux as the standard headlights are shocking but decided to get better legal bulbs and they did the job.
