You can get the Gas Discharge HID driving lamps as an option on the P1 for around £400.

I got them on mine and they are the Dogs.

Cool

Hi Gang

Not a subject that I usually get involved in. However I do like to see where I am going at night.

On my VW HID or Xenon are not an option.

However here in the Uk it is possible to purchase at a reasonable an H4 or H1 HID conversion.

Kits are available from Regal Autosport (www.regal-auto.co.uk) or 023 8079 100 and they are based in Shirley Southampton
The kits contain replacement HID bulbs and the additional power is provided by a power pack, relay and new loom which simply connects in-line with matching plugs and sockets etc. H4 and H7 applications cost around £450 inc Vat and H1 applications cost £500 inc vat.

Whether kits are available for scoobys I know not but I am sure the guys at Rehal Autosport will help you if you call on the number given.

Needless to say the conversion on my Bora is nothing short of AWESOME.

Hope this helps. Mark The Wizard Of Wax

Isn't the problem wwith std Scoob lights and HID kits, that HID needs one bulb for dip, one for main?

But if you had Morettes, it would work niceley I'd have though.
