I assume you mean change the heading from 'scoobynet bulletin board' to, for example 'scoobynet - general questions' if you had the general questions on screen.

If so then I to think it's a good idea, but I've emailed Simon and he said that it's really a no go, as it constitutes a code change to the BBS software.

I meant change the name to anything other than scooby or subaru, so when a screen is minimized it shows something like news or network or anything workish related.

I am only talking about the internet explorer screen heading.

Move the taskbar from the bottom to the right hand side of the screen, then make it so small you can't actually read the labels on all the minimized icons.

LOL

Unfortunately, this has always been the case, and it would mean changing the software to stop it...

although...

another alternative..

open up notepad..

copy the following text into it..

<html>
<head>
<title>Network Information</title>
</head>
<frameset framespacing="0" border="0" rows="0,*" frameborder="0">
<frame name="header" scrolling="no" noresize target="main">
<frame name="main" scrolling="auto" src="http://www.scoobynet.co.uk">
</frameset>
</html>

then save it somewhere calling it something like "ScoobyNet.htm"

Then double click the new file.

Change the bit that says "Network Information" to change what it says in the task menu.

LOL - I'm so ashamed

Like many of us I use Scoobynet at work so I can keep uptodate and read all the new posts.

Please could you change the web page headings back to the plain old Microsoft Explorer message, or something not obvious at the begining. I guess other people like me read a page and if someone comes into the room, quickly minimizes it. Unfortunatly this leaves several tabs at the bottom of the screen showing things like SUBARU or ScoobyNet etc etc.

Is there anything that could be done, or is it just me that has this problem?

Cheers,
Steve.
