Welcome to the forum Ross.

Glad you like the car, I can assure you there's more to come as you get used to it. When I had my first one I used to say "it's got more bottle than I have" but I'm sure you'll grow on it as much as it does on you.

Black's a great colour as well (but so is WRC blue).

Watch out for Mk 2 Fiesta turbo drivers and their mates in Pug and Golf GTi's !!

Agreed on the scoop, looks hideous (IMO, seen those before in the flesh, not pretty)compared to the nice look of the rest of the car.

Need more details on it!

Just so you know Ross, you did well to steer clear of my old girl, the seller took ZERO care of her whatsoever since buying her from me in pristine nick, had no receipts except for all of mine, had broken tons of stuff on it (not just the engine by a longshot) and has basically done his damndest to undo all of my original hard work. NOTHING like the advert!

Went to see her last night, heartstrings got well and truly pulled and I bought her back after almost 5 years away from her. Going to do a complete restore on her to get her looking like this again:

Anyway, sorry for the hijack, enjoy your new purchase but again, give us some info

lol Nick had a funny feeling you would buy it back, i just couldn't justify the work it needed, especially when i picked this one up cheaper than "fluffy" was lol.

This one has 1 previous owner, full service history, only mods are a full stainless system with decat and an induction kit. Its the best all round STi ive seen in the few weeks ive been looking =)

Yep, I paid too much at 2.6k (real gift of the gab on the seller and I didn't think I would get much lower than £400 off) but it didn't seem like a lot of money to me for the hours of "entertainment" tearing her all down will give me...., especially when everything is so cheap in comparison to running costs for the rest of the stable! I have been looking back through the car file for what I paid for things and laughing.

Been looking for parts this morning and laughing again at how cheap it all is comparatively. Seriously, you guys have it easy for parts prices!
