STI v8 ppp fuel?

The PPP cert says (and this is word for word)
"Your vehicle will run safely in 95 RON Premium unleaded fuel, but you may not benefit from the full performance gains when using this fuel. We recommend that you continue to use 97 RON Super unleaded".
I feel a Coke vs Pepsi type challenge coming on... In all honesty I doubt that you'd really feel much difference between 97 and 99 RON, let alone 95 and 99 RON.

Yea I assumed the same yet I have heard that these ran on 95 can caused engine lights etc....so do others run 97? Only ask as sainburys petrol station is very close n they have the super 97

I only use v power or tesco momentum in my 03 blob wrx PPP i was told this when i bought the car from my local subaru dlr i think sainsbury get their super from bp (i could be wrong) which i have been told is utter sh*te
