Default problems with clutch pedal

Hi all my 98 classic seem when you really give it some stick the clutch bedal seems to stick down a bit and the biting point is very low. Does any one have any ideas what this may be?

Make sure the spring which goes from the fork to the gear box bracket is fitted & give it a good bleed.

Smile problems with clutch pedal

this a common problem, the pedal arm wears out on the pivot point!!

The only way to fix it is to replace it.

Worn pivot is common & is easily checked by grabbing hold of the pedal & checking for play in the pivot. However usually worn pivot makes the pedal stick all the time & not just when driving hard. A missing fork spring cause exactly what has been described when driving really hard but old clutch fluid can cause it too as it can't cope when it gets hot.

I would say that Richard is correct, the worn pivot happens all the time.
