Default advice on a type r 2.5

hi lads,,just wondering ,,where does this red blocked off pipe on the top of the block connect two?? is it the crank case vent???as only just noticed mines blocked off,its a ej25 with 2.o v4 sti heads,heres a pic


cos ive noticed oil on top of my block,,and think its coming from the red blocked off pipe,,
im new two scooby's see,,

Just looked at my 2.5 and it doesnt have that pipe.

You dont have that outlet on the standard 2 litre but on a 2.5 you do so its ok to block off and it is a crankcase breather.
When i built mine i had to block it off as it wouldn't join to my 2 litre breather system.

cool ,,that's what I thought 2,,so I take it im ok just 2 to block it off???or should I put a kn style breather on it
and what would u recommend to block it off with,as its just a water pipe with a bolt on the end

That should be ok as it is and I had no problems after doing that with mine
