I had a look at this recently and then saw a car on the road that had clearly had an attempt and failed.
I have just bought some shade blinds that fit quite well and cheap as chips and easily removed when not needed.

My old neighbour proceeded to do this to both of his old scoobs plus his current car and IMO it always looks cack!
When he did it to the first car I figured maybe he had just screwed it up or something but when the other two attempts came out looking the same it made me think that pre cut tints are obviously not the way to go! lol
No matter how long you spend applying them, and trust me, he was out there for hours, they will always leave some form of line or air bubble that just gives it away that they weren't done professionally.
I think if you want to tint your windows, its best to take the plunge and get it done professionally...youll only end up dissapointed otherwise.
There's a reason they charge considerably more...its because they make it look good lol

pre cut is absolutely crap quality, trust, i can get it done for you in bradford while you wait for about £90 rear 3 windows while you wait. had it on my car 5 years and looks as good as the first day it was put on.
i made the mistake and bought pre cut before, it was crap to put on, tore and scrateched easily when getting bubbles out and lasted 6 months only. never again.
