Beastly

I have been leering at these beasts for a year now and I wonder what commuter mpg I can expect.
I do a 60 mile round trip, 90% of that on the motorway and I rarely get above 65mph.
Whats the most touring mpg anyone gets?
Can it be a pussycat during the week and a beast at weekends?
Cheers JB

Hi Skint,
Im a fellow Bournemouth person, what are you planning on driving? I get about 22 / 24 day to day. If you keep it off the turbo then its not too bad, but 250 miles from a £45 tank of SUL is my limit. Motorway's are not too good either unless you do 70, which is impossible when you have a s**t load of power under your right foot.

White with gold shoes and new big WRC wing, in case you know me.

On a UK MY98 if I'm really good I get 28mpg out of a tank of super and 25 out of a tank of unleaded.
Normally I average 25mpg on super during the rush hour motorway commutes.
Don't forget tyres, servicing, insurance, depreciation and mods in your calculations!
