What's my 03 WRX worth?
Hi All,
Strange first post! I've owned my Scooby for about 10 years and have only found this site now that I come to sell it.
Had it up for sale on Pistonheads at £3250 and reduced it to £2850 which I thought was cheap but so far only had calls from traders.
Does anyone have any opinions on what its worth?
Many thanks

that's what I thought! Is it worth putting it on autotrader as well? I get the PH advert free as a long term member so not keen on paying £45 for autotrader if it's just going to be the same pool of buyers viewing

Pretty sure a member on here was asking about that car.
Certainly for me, at £2850, that is very reasonable for a two owner, one family car. The only thing that goes against it is the mileage. It's true, that todays engines really are good for 200,000 miles plus, but the 100k stigma is still out there.
I personally have had two Volvo 850's, one on 225k and the other on 150k, both were problem free and never let me down. But even so, people usually seek out a low mileage car. A friend of mine recently paid well over the odds for a five year old car because it had only done 18k. For me, I'd be asking why the mileage was so low (it was a just a run of the mill family car).
Anyway, I think at £2850 it's a bargain.

Oh, and with regards Autotrader, I still end up putting my cars on there as it does seem to get so many views, but all I get via AT is scam emails.
I've had most interest from PH and ebay.

Having studied the market for the past 6 weeks I can see it getting around £2400. Hopefully you won't stumble upon a dicky bidder who messes you about. I seen alot been relisted due to bidders not doing insurance quotes before bidding.
Fingers crossed you get what your asking for.

Hi David,
I emailed you on Friday to advise I could view it today although got no reply so I assumed you had sold it to the person who came to view at the weekend.
Did you receive my email?
