I went with Direct Line multi car and then after about 4 days when I rang them up to check something, they refused to cover my 100% standard uk impreza. It's a PPP and as they couldn't find it on their system they cancelled the insurance?!

With insurers you can only have your NCD on ONE car so cant split your NCD (I have 17 yrs) so they won't give you a no claims discount for your 2nd car, but do give a slight discount. My ncd is on my impreza so my 2001 primera still costs £500 to insure!!

I heard that LV might split your NCD or apply it too your 2nd car as well which might save cash.

Orite mate, if your after a multicar quote go to admiral they seem to be pretty good I have used them in the past Iv gone to more of a specialist now though because of my new car. If your wrx is standard I would say you would have no problems with admiral all the best.

Admiral will accept a number of mods with relatively small and in some cases, no increase in premium.

As above, I'm with admiral. When I phoned they were going to give me a std Multi car quote so I asked if they could mirror my 13 years NCB, the girl went away for a minute then came back and said they would. So my NCB is on both my vectra and my impreza oh and they cover mods aswell!!!

I thought that but it didn't seem to be the case last year when trying to insure my 1.8 diesel run around...

No one would take into account my 9 years ncb on the 300bhp impreza so had to start with 0 and pay more for the 90bhp focus than the impreza

So now I have got 10years ncb on the impreza and 1year ncb on the focus

Another 1 for Pace Ward.

Been with them 3 years or so now and have my Subaru, GTR and everyday car with them on their "Family Fleet" policy at a great price.

Very helpful guys, worth a phone call.
