Mines up for £9.5k, but mine has been used a bit more

It's a 2.5 but based on a JDM? I thought all JDM's were 2.0?
Also, if this is based on a JDM, what's the difference between this car and a standard JDM, except for a map? Does the type 25 have any handling / chassis upgrades?

btw the forged internals weren't as strong as they hoped!! Hence mine (and many others)now have replacement forged Cosworth Bottom-ends

T25 was never built with forged internals, it was an oem bottom end and crank, piston and rods it used to come as a kit. It was like taking a bullet proof 2.0l engine and replacing it with a ticking time bomb 2.5 so to speak

I believe they used forged pistons on the later blob eye T25s as they had problems withe the early ones running standard internals.

I paid £11,350 for my 38000 mile 2004/5 model Type 20 (essentially the same but with the original JDM 2.0 engine) in late 2011, so it's not too bad, but I wouldn't swap mine for that one. Mine was dear, but it was worth it for its condition as far as I was concerned.
The one in the advert has been messed about with from its original T25 specification, for example it now has cheaper BC coilovers rather than the ASTs it came with, a dump valve (are you here today Tommy?!), a different induction kit, different wheels, no roof vent I can see (I may be wrong, but I think in that case it's not a Spec C as it claims) and if it's 'as new', why has it got rusty bits and dirt in the engine compartment?
It's still a Type 25, so will of course be dearer than the equivalent ordinary STis, and there's nothing there that can't be sorted out if you wanted to, but I'd want to have a very good look over it and check its history before I bought it.
Don't forget to look hard for rust underneath, too. The undertrays at the front can hide all kinds of potential 'entertainment' and the seller may not be aware of this as it seems he's a bit vague about his car.
I hope this helps.
