Default Loss of Power, need some advice please.

Well I've got a 1995 Impreza Wagon with a TD05 swap and a Z4 ECU. Every morning, the car does a hard start and sometimes it even stops and I need to start it a second time.

Every now and then, the car judders under acceleration and if I floor it is doesn't even try to go anywhere. I have some suggestions for the reasons behind this;
1. Ignition Coil(s) gone bad
2. Fuel Filter gone bad
3. Boost Leaking

Any other suggestions would help. And also, my engine check light won't stop blinking. It's been doing it for days ever since I removed the battery. Could this have something to do with it? What does it mean?

1. Fuel pump breaking down?
2. Have the swapped items been correctly "mapped" to the car?
3. Decent fuel?
4. Spark Plugs?
5. Have you completed a diagnostic? www.scoobypedia.com will help.

You could be chasing your tail for ages. Unless your good with spanners and electrics, get it to a specialist and get them to have a proper look.

Spark Plugs changed a couple months ago, and the fuel down here isn't the best but other JDM Imprezas, STis even have been running on it fine. I'll bring it for a diagnostics check and the car's scheduled to be remapped later this year anyways.

I'll keep the fuel pump in mind now, thank you.

If you have swapped the ECU and Turbo without mapping you could be in big trouble soon. If you bought the ECU from the European or Jap mainland it will not be set up for you climate conditions.
