RCM sent my parts off so I am not sure really on the price, white turns brown over time and red looks like pink over time from what I was told. went black in the end, still looks brand new 2 years on!

Had manifold done on my previous car(Focus RS) Had it coated white, and when fitted i had dirty hands, so had finger prints on it for ages, so where gloves if your fitting it yourself!!!

To be honest cant see the advantages of it, apart from it looks better then exhaust wrap, Still hot as hell if you touched it(would not advise), where as when you touch a wrapped manifold/downpipe does not feel as hot, So if it does the same job, how come the coated one lets more heat out then the one thats wrapped????

Think I paid £250-300 for just the manifold!!!

I had a full set of pipe work done Its not cheap as they charge you every inch of pipe work a manifold would proberly set you back about £500+ with the vat but it is quality work, just to add they do different coatings now the estimate price I gave you was for there performance range.SJ.

Had my headers and up pipe Zircotec coated about 5/6 years ago now. Yes the white does mark easily but it's only aesthetic, black is certainly easier to live with daily, colours weren't available when I had mine done.
To my knowledge if you request a colour, they're all coated white and then sprayed a VHT colour paint over the top.
The reduction in under bonnet temps was massive. After a hard drive I used to barely be able to touch the bonnet stay, after the coating, it was barely warm.
I certainly don't suffer any heat management issues and there's nothing on my headers but the ceramic.

Having said that, it is very expensive and the new range of DEI titanium products are superb. Personally if I were doing it again, I'd save the money and buy DEI titanium wrap.
However, If you have the funds, it's certainly a superb process to have done and I can highly recommend it.

Used these guys for the stuff on my last build, and have a few mates who have used them too. Turnaround is excellent and half the price of zircotek

Mine has largely flaked and falled off.... can't recommend it, not impressed at all.

To be fair as frayz stated, it does a good job controlling under bonnet temps. But I haven't tried DEI yet either.
