where is the maf?

Default where is the maf?

Can anyone with an impreza classic SPORT tell me (or show me a pic would be even better) where the maf sensor is, its a 2000 model.

If it's a Phase 1 engine then the MAF is what's plugged into the air intake pipe, you can see it plugged into a black square shaped bit. If it's a Phase 2 engine though then you'll have a MAP sensor instead, which is located on the throttle body I think.

Ok im guessing its the phase two for the year. There are three sensors i can see but i belive one is the throttle position, other is idle control and the last i thought is the one just behind tge alternator on the top of the throttle body, would that be the one?
