First question
As soon as anybody knows you've got an Impreza, why is their first question always;
No other marque has this stigma, not even after talking to my evo mates, just us.
Sup with that? I know any Impreza can be running any power, but why can't some people just say "nice car mate"??
Paul
What power's it running?

Imo it's not a stigma, it's a sign of respect.
An acknowledgement not only that a scooby is capable of being modified but that the owner (at some point) will have had it done.
Working class priced cars with working class owners which can easily be turned into WORLD class performers.
Therein lies the attraction of a Subaru.

Not just the working class though is it?
The feckless workshy can afford these now on the wealth of benefits available for popping a couple of kids out with a local ****. And herein lies the problem with cheap (to buy) performance cars.
