Plenty of owners on here theres a thread dedicated to them. One is on pistonheads at 30k which is a bargain! I test drove one and it was awesome!

Yep, I've got no. 54.

Bought from Mangoletsi Subaru in Cheshire they've got a couple in at the moment and always ready to do a good deal.

If you can get one for £30k that is an absolute bargain. However I would also consider an R205 Japanese import if you are looking for a Subaru mega hatch, there is a very nice one in the classifieds. It's a different cup of tea to the Cosworth with a different end product (mainly due to the character of the 2.0 twin scroll engine) but the overall statistics match up - bespoke car designed for the road running on Bilsteins with a forged engine running more power than standard.

As for the Cosworth, absolutely cracking motors. Mine is currently sitting on 5000 miles and running strong. You may have heard bad press about 2.5 engines - the bad press does not apply to engines that are forged as the heavy duty components do not break as they are unfortunately anecdotally prone to doing in the engines running cast parts.

In short, the car rides smoother than a standard STi and is easy to potter about in round town due to the torque. Boot it and there's a hiss and a snarl before it takes off like a scalded cat. As you'd expect from an Impreza with 400bhp.

They are pretty good Quite fast and rather surefooted.Tyres and brakes seem to wear well and even on the coldest of mornings she starts 1st time .Oh and they look best in red of course.

Not surprised you get a bargain, especially on how their staff treat the stock of cars see them every morning and night when going to and from work taking the cars to and from storage, and the way they rag them around the country lanes around lower peover....no respect, no cool down and warm ups. Makes you think about buying from such an organisation.

Thank you for the kind words.
Thats a plate worthy of keeping hold of.
Although I like my little plate, less obvious and more grown up than a regular Scooby plate imo .

Mine came with about 15 miles on the clock so I can only thank them for getting the oil into the engine for me
