Default Engine swap?

Who has put a STI engine into a WRX and how did you get it to run as i cant get mine to fire it turns over but wont run.......

We really need more detail to be able to help. Like the year of your car and the year of the donor engine. Ect ect

sorry my bad, it was a complete 2002 STI insurance write off and going into a newage 2001 WRX complete car just missing engine and box.

i have put the engine and box in the wrx and changed the ecu and the chip in the key and the receiver around the ignition barrel. i first started to get a solid key light on the clock so new it had recognised something then i ended up changing the alarm box and every other box from the sti from behind the dash to the wrx.

SHe turns over all day long but wont fire, i have fuel getting to the engine and i have a spark the only thing that looks suspect is that when you take the key out of the ignition the key light flashes now and again

I assume you put the whole sti wiring loom in?

yeah and now we have problem solved i got a mate to come look at it and was something to do with a dodgy fuel line of something but he got her to run so im happy but cheers for ppls input
