Default Sealant for blobeye headlights

Previous owner detangoed blob headlights but since washing its letting water in and they look fogged up and stained. Gonna take them apart, clean up and reseal, what's best sealant to keep moisture out?

The sealant already on them is probably sufficient once reheated.

Stick em in the oven for 15 mins and then see if that helps. I found that worked for me.

Mee too with classic lights, but I then smeared the seal with Carafax http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_tr...at=0&_from=R40 just to be sure.

A non-setting mastic, it was made for caravans, and resists water like nowt else.

That's my concern with using any additional sealer.

Carafax is a NON-SETTING mastic, made for bedding things onto caravans that need to be screwed THROUGH the outer skin, but have a waterproof seal: lights, fridge grilles, awning rails, window surrounds etc etc.

It CAN be removed, as can the things bedded in it, but it doesn't set, crack or break.

It's THE stuff for sealing stuff if you ever want it off/apart again
