Default SC38 OR SC40 Billet Turbo.

Bit of a dilemma on what turbo to get,

Obviously the SC40 you're looking at a bit more power, however probably uprated injectors as well. Is the spool time much more obvious with the SC40 or is it minimal? Whats the lag difference between the two? Should I just stick with the SC38?

Cheers,

Ozne.

made 390 on an SC38 billet on standard pinks, made a ballistic road car. Didnt see the need to go for the SC40 if you are not too hung up on numbers

I was at SC last week and the lads were chatting about a new SC42 which apparently matches the spool response of the existing SC38 so perhaps food for thought.

I'm sure Kev and Co can advise though.

Perhaps the SCR range that has been "coming soon" for many months now?

Is there a difference between the 38 and the 40?
I heard somewhere that they are the same thing.
