He reshelled it.

BUT now engine seems to have gone, so looking for another forged build to take 400 bhp/lb ft.

ask for the invoice number from the rebuild company then check with them see what thay say...

 

That's a pretty manky looking engine for just 10,000 miles, We wouldn't turn a car out looking like that and it wouldn't get like that in 10,000 miles if we had even done a quick steam clean under there.

It is possible of course that it was a self fit, and we never saw the car. But you have to admit it doesn't look like a good engine.

We never fit forged cranks unless you are up in the 600 + hp range.....
