Ok, after 2 test drives and listening to you guys I decided I must have an Impreza STi. But whats pro's and cons of best places?

Safest and best is probably UK Main Dealer but also expensive

Don't want a Jap spec car.

There's a few Euro Imports at Virgin (but from Cyprus)

Finally theres the likes of Litchfield Imports and Car Imports Direct. They say they import UK Spec cars direct from Japan. How does this work? What is stamped on book as supplying dealer? And are these regarded any better that Cyprus imports by UK dealers?

From your username I guess they may be a bit too far south for you to buy from but David Hendry Cars in Malmesbury (J17 M4) import both Euro and Japanese spec cars. I'm not sure which route the Euro cars arrive through and I've lost the flyer with the prices on but they could be worth a phone call, as I've always found them very helpful. 01666 824369
