RB5 suspension

i am thinking of trading my 97 scoob for a RB5, i find the 97 car too soft , has the rb5 got uprated suspension, as i havnt driven it yet

AFAIK The RB5 is the same as a MY99 with a different interior, 17 inch wheels and grey paintwork. The WR version is the same as MY99 with PPP, and the above.

and the RB5 has a solid rear baulkhead for a bit stiffer chasis

Mark, have you still got the standard 15in wheels on your MY97? I found there was a big difference going from the 15in to 17in alloys on my MY97.

As mentioned above the only difference in the suspension side on the RB5 to the MY99 is the 17in alloys. The body is slightly stiffer but the rear seat does not split/fold as a result.

i already have the my00 16" wheels, but i test drove an ev0 6 last week , found a big difference in handling, and price
