Tubbster did indeed do two sets for me and it was worth every penny and then some! He swapped the covers from a UK set to my JDM HID set and blacked them out. He then put the JDM covers on to the UK set and gave a damn good detango at the same time.

I actually have a spare set now that I will be putting up for sale as soon as my detailer fwend polishes the fronts for me. Tubbster's work:

Sounds like he's the man

I was maybe thinking of going a slightly different colour behind, what's your view? Thinking of being different without looking cr@p.

The way I see it, if your not capable or confident, pay someone to do a good job, or keep the **** off! LOL

My last effort over a year or ago ended bad!

I've just done a set for a pal. Its really very easy Rob.
Remove all the screws from the back, 5 mins in the oven at 50, take out of the oven and split and then remove the inner. Spray it black and then refit. Back in the oven for a couple of mins and then put the light back together.
I added a little extra sealer around the light to make sure it all sealed well.

Justy FYI as you might want to buy it so make more money selling a complete set or me buy your old offside light and have a complete set (another complete set....) to sell.

No sorry, I bought a replacement and put them on eBay, as soon as I managed to get some Spec C lamps

Never heard that folk have replaced the lens, but you would imagine someone may offer this service. Probably cheaper to just buy a set of fleabay though bud. I've bought a set off there for £60 last year, and as I only need one as a replacement I put the other on and got £75 for it LOL

i would think the only way to fix this is get new lights, i doubt you can polish out scratches if they are too deep as the lenses are plastic.

i managed to get some hazing out of mr footlongs with a light polish though.

Quick Reply: De-tango Blobeye headlights, or someone to do mine ;)
