Ouch,
Really sorry to see that DJ. Hope it'll be up to scratch (excuse the pun) soon! Is it not driveable, it doesn't look too bad from the pics thankfully, at least you get to have all the stonechips resprayed.
Where did you go off at Cadwell, and which line from the book of excuses was responsible for that?

Glad you organised some transport home,
you were driving real well up until the accident, the car felt really well on the track, i didn't realise how fast a scoob could be driven round corners. It was my first track day but i don't think it will put me off being a passenger again, was a bit scary though when you see the barrier coming towards you very fast

As you all probably know, the red devil had a vehicular/landscape interface at Cadwell today.
Couple of piccies courtesy of John Felstead (thanx buddy). If you think track insurance is a waste of money, have a look at these
Only injuries were to pride and burns to ears from all the guys who were kept waiting...SORRY GUYS
Thanks for all the positive comments, to Stef and Dave Mackey for use of your mobiles (broke mine!!)
Big thank you to my new best mate Mad Dog Dave for getting me home from Cadwell to Southampton in under 5 hours. The answer is still no btw mate
All being well, I'll get back on the horse at Bedford next month

DJ,
Sorry to hear/see that. From the pictures, it doesn't look to bad, but I guess you have a better idea.
Glad to hear that you weren't hurt.
No doubt the red rocket (estate ) will be back and fighting fit again soon.
Cheers
Ian

Thanks for the concern guys, it is one of the really special things about the ScoobyNet community.
Simon
glad I haven't put you off, I felt a bit guilty about that. First rule of crashing...make sure the passenger side hits 1st
RichiB
Eibachs were gr8. See you soon for alignment .... again !!
Won't go into the scenario here, but watching the vid again I am still slightly hacked off to say the least.
Damage wise track rod, suspension arm both well bent. Didn't check driveshaft etc, leaving that to my fave technician
Excuse for more upgrades maybe

Why not search the Private ads, for a few quid - you can't even notice the difference between the Matiz and the Wagon
