Default Hey guys, just joined the STI club!

Hey, Ive just put a deposit down today on a 54 plate STI and should be picking it up on tuesday hopefully!

Its on 65k with full service history, completely standard and by the looks of it, never been tuned (looking at boltheads and general condition). Pretty excited, been looking for one for the last month and should be a nice upgrade from my current car (Mini Cooper S).

First things I wanna do is get it detailed (it needs it) and generally clean it up, needs new wiper arms and the rubber window seals on the back doors. Then I want the hawkeye steering wheel and centre console.

Think thats it, if anyones got any tips feel free to add them.

(PS I did not pay the window price)

And one of my old car

Cheers, Stuart.

Yeah tell me about it! I took these pictures a few weeks ago when I first went to look at it and they had only just had the car in and didnt know what to price it. I had £1500 off that price and a few extras including a years warranty, new mot, tax etc.

Yeah Ive taken it on two test drives a few weeks apart, it feels solid and doesnt make any noises it shouldnt. I did open it up but not much because the roads we were on wern't great for it but it was enough to feel the speed, didnt test the handling much though, again the roads were not good for it. So Im pretty excited to see how it handles when I get it.
